First, we will focus on the fundamentals of proper technique: posture, breathing and vowel shaping. These elements will be reinforced with powerful vocal exercises, including scales to both determine your vocal range, and to get an indication of your pitch accuracy. The second part of the lesson is spent applying the fundamentals to a song of your choice (with an instrumental available on YouTube)

Yes. There are Visual Feedback exercises and techniques to help students who want to learn how to match pitch "feel" the processes required to navigate pitch vocally.

There will also be a clear acrylic “sneeze guard” stand in front of coach for added safety.
This depends on several factors, but what is most important is that the student practice daily. Singing is a physical process and it is important to develop vocal “muscle memory” to sing better, and more efficiently over time. It is best to practice without interruptions, and to practice with specific goals in mind. In general, students should aim for 25-30 minutes of practice daily. For students who seek to become singing professionals or who have taken voice lessons for several years, practice can last an hour or more.
